Not long finished a Party PC Especiales whilst walking around a car boot in sunny Stratford. An old chap sauntered by and commented that the cigar smelled nice, so I thanked him and carried on with the hunt. What a day, weather wise already. Don't forget to slip-slop-slap the children if out (make sure they're your own of course): it's supposed to be tres warm today folks. Have a great weekend

Starting early! Monte 4 for me. I need a slightly smaller stick to go with morning coffee tbh.

Sounds like a jolly good morning!

Just about half an inch into a RyJ Wide Churchill. Thus far, not exactly great.

Sounds like my favourite type of morning Puff... Not at all envious here...

Currently torn between a Padron 1926 No2 or a Trinidad Ingenios... Decisions... (Then I have to pack for my 'work-based' trip to Cannes and St Tropez - where the weather will be cooler, and wetter... )

I plumped for the Padron 1926 No2 (Natural Wrapper). So far, it is a very, very good cigar. Complex, long in the mouth, burning evenly, and with lots of nice smoke. I've not been a fan of the standard line of cigars - even found a couple of plugged ones!!! (Yes, I know! Plugged NCs... Padrons at that!) It's beautifully dry on the main draw, but with under-notes of sweetness on the exhale - amazingly complex.

And, to celebrate out great leader's own photos, I thought I should share a terrible 'selfy' I took... First time I've worn a cap whilst smoking a cigar, much needed today though (thank heavens for agricultural companies throwing freebies around like nobodies business...)

out of curiosity, do you sweeten the tea when you're smoking with it?
