I'm going to enjoy an afternoon smoke in the local pub garden today.

gonna enjoy a cohiba siglo I with some iced water with lemon out back whilst it's peaceful and quiet!! in about 2 hours time, the marching bands will be returning, the rioters will be ready and the police and helicopters will be filling the air with noise for the rest of the evening!! the latest word is, because of the parades commision's ruling against the orange order, the paramilitaries are mobilized and ready for action!! this is the worst it's been in years, it's a new generation of supporters, protesters and rioters!!

    anyhoo, cohiba....... here i come!!

Sounds like 'peace' isn't so peaceful Snr Robusto, guess you'll have to create your own little world of Havana blue etherial pleasures.
I have been stuck on the rig since 0700 due to the FOG, they are jsut about to lift the aircraft so if it's ok when it arrives, I should have time for a shorter smoker before my train home. Was looking fwd to a Party Series D No 1, guess that'll have to wait until the holiday.

cheers simon....... yeah, that's what i've been doing the last couple of days, practically living in the garden!! lol!! re-reading brion gysin's 'the process', listening to miles davis 'sketches of spain', erik satie, buena vista social club..... solo afternoon tea (yes, sad as it sounds, finger sandwiches, cakes etc), nespresso, guinness, whisk(e)y...... yes creating my own little paradise!! no missus or son........ bliss!!

btw, the cohiba siglo I was a wee gem!! cohiba generally are a bit hit n miss for me, but this exceeded all expetations!!

La Rica Supremo while I read Red Dragon. Awesome start, but not great overall. The robusto is still the only worthwhile La Rica in my opinion.

Just started a mystery Condal I found in my NC stash from a trade a while ago. Going down with a well earned pint of Fuller's ESB while I wait for the lady to get back from work

JL2 - reminds me of the sweetness of bran flakes.
Very easy draw, almost too loose, ash drops very early, but flavours are good.

I'm now on hols and have tentative lined up the BHK56 and a LGC for tonight. I have a bit of a cold just now so might not light the BHK in case my palate is impaired!?!?
