I'm smoking the beautiful 08 H Upmann coronos major I was sent, incredible flavours and draw for a beautiful day. I'm even going to have a dip in the pool (paddling) under the stars whence it is finished!

That's queer! I too had a JL #1 this evening, but unlike yours, mine smoked just fine.

Like I earlier said, the Monte old bands were discontinued in 07. So it's at very least 7 years old.

The band on that cigar looks like the one from the 1940's which was discontinued around 2003, which would make it at least 10 years old...
