Life lesson learned today. When going out on the motorbike, riding for an hour and stopping at a lovely country pub for a cigar and coffee, take more than one. Just incase the Hoyo especial you have picked out is plugged and you have nothing to smoke, in otherwise perfect smoking contains you have been waiting months for!! As Mr Simpson snr would put it.. "DOH!!"

Ha! This is post is more fitting for the "What are you NOT smoking" forum!"

Always good to cut or punch and do a "test draw" before heading out on a day trip, especially for puros with a propensity to plugged.

    That's what I do anyway.

It's bloody roasting here in Perthshire.. So much so that having to sit in the shade!

Thought I'd crack open a box of March 2000 H Upmann No 1 that I found in Andorra last year....I wasn't expecting much strength but I was completely wrong. What a strong yet refined smoke this is. A lot of pepper and spicy notes too....lovely

Another gorgeous day in the Cotswolds. Pimms on the go and a H.Upmann Half Corona on the go. Just something to enjoy in the run up to dinner.

                            That looks bloody lovely amigo

Carved out a little bit of me time today and nubbed an unbanded Party PC Especiales. Young and a bit brash but a couple of the ol' flamb? purges saw us through to the not so bitter end

I got it from JJ Fox a few weeks ago; to be honest I went in to get a RASS after reading a lot of good things about it but picked up the wrong cigar (obviously day dreaming too much in my browsing!). I only realised the other day when I measured it and it was over 5 inches long, and sure enough the receipt does say Petit Corona!
