'08 Siglo II ...not bad, very strong, strength was muting typical Siglo flavours, smoked better last year.

Not always, whilst generally they get more balanced sometimes they get stronger. May have been the blend on this stick was heavy one the Ligero giving it an unusual strength.

The ligero? I thought the milder ones steered clear of ligero leaves in general. Like you said, those would overpower the standard cohiba flavours.

I've Read somewhere that they only use them IVs and greater and that's what gives them more bodies of flavours. I mean, the Internet's never wrong, right?
