I agree that the Monte No. 4 doesn't set the world alight and also question the flavours that many people get from them, I never get any chocolate or coffee!

All I can say about them is that they're a good cigar, not great (although it seems that you can't even say that &#128522

It's a good steady smoke. U know what to expect. I don't mind em. Although if I want something short I much prefer the Petit Edmundo

I dabbled with the Epi 1's a bit Sludgie, but decided to stick to PR's and Epi 2's. Even the EE wasn't great

Oi trickle! I thought the same thing.
A mate of mine gave me a box of 1 year old Monte Petit Tubos. Try those things out and see what you think. I found them a MUCH better smoke than the monte 4s. Monte 4 was 6 months old at the time though..

On the topic of the Half Corona, i had a Coronas Junior. I found that bloody thing awful (however, the prelight draw was amazing though. i could've tasted that all day )
How do they compare??
