    afternoon all,
had my first ever ERDM choix supreme.......... first from a new box (may 2012)!! had it with a 'cafe cortado'!! throroughly enjoyed it, found it lay in between RyJ & VR in terms of flavour!! earthy, nutty, floral!! medium bodied!! however, the last third gave me a right good ....... got the shakes now, lol!!

Darn weather, I'm gasping for a blunt, hopefully the pub quiz is on tonight and I can huddle under cover

Senor, I'm surprised you found the ERDM a heavy hitter, I've always felt they are one of the lightest smokes I've sampled, always good for a relaxing mid day chill.

lol, not sure what it was....... it was just hitting medium bodied for the duration of the smoke, then when it entered the last third it seemed to raise it's profile to full on!! it wasn't bitter, the lovely flavours intensified and then i felt a wee bit 'spaced' and got a mild case of the jitters!! lol!! i'm usually okay with bolivars & partagas first thing after breakfast....... this one just got me before i knew what was going on!! anyway, i'm so glad i bought them, can't understand why i took me so long to get them.......

Had my second Upmann Robusto EL2012, absolutely glorious, way better than the first one I tried. Lovely cocoa flavours.

Had a Siglo Limited Reserve last night whilst learning how to play poker

i bought this when i first got into cigars a year ago, i actually thought at the time it was a cohiba siglo i was picking up for 5 bucks. alas, its a nica rip off, one that the website i bought it off described as an ideal cigar for your mooch friends, so i wasnt expecting much. i was actually surprised, had a hint of the creamy grassiness that cohibas have, i enjoyed it. could've been the 10 or so fingers of Glendronach 15 I had with it though.

Actually, the siglo brand in America isn't that bad taste for the price. It's alright a considering THEY'RE mooching off the cohiba brand name/ label appearance.
They're normally around 6-10 bucks in america and around 15 in Canada. So for 5 bucks that's NOT a bad price....... aged for a year and with a nice aged Speyside is not a bad deal . Wouldn't mind a tipple of that 15 year old. But for the price that goes for, i'd rather a good litre of my cragganmore
