Smoking a Monticristo Edmundo with some strong filter coffee. Really surprised with how mild this is - the first third is nothing like I expected. See how it goes - only 15 mins in so far

You may find the Petit Edmundo lives up more to your expectations Toshi

It's pleasant enough, just not as much of a kick as I was expecting. 45 minutes in now, about half way through & it's smoking very nicely (slightly uneven burn initially, but corrected easily enough), but it has just started raining so I'm huddled under the parasol - not ideal

I guessed you were missing a little more kick and its little bro, the Petit Edmundo has more oomph (and many think, more flavour) sorry if I'm being presumptuous about you not having had one already, that's a bit rude. I haven't had one for about three years

Had an Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum R Vitola Forty-Four on the drive home from work, finished off in the garden. It's a decent smoke IMO.

No need to apologise. I'm still a relative novice to cigars and there are plenty I'm yet to try, but I'm getting there slowly

This was the first Monti Edmundo I've smoked. I bought a couple recently to try them, and having some time this evening I thought I'd light one up. In truth, maybe the coffee I was drinking was too strong, but the first third I couldn't really taste anything. The flavour did start to come through during the second third, and the final third was actually much better (much more spice & pepper), but I can't say I am itching to smoke the other one sitting in my humi.

An hour 45 mins later & I'm finished, but I've made a mental note to try a PE at some point and compare it. Thanks

Another pretty 'meh' NC. Little bit of coconut at the tail end of the 2/3 but pretty much standard tobacco for the most part.

First H Upmann ever for me!
Almost guarantee itll be my last for a while now. First third's not impressive, I'll seee what the second third can give me. Doubt itll change my mind about it . Ah well.. I'll just put it out near its final third as i cant imagine it being very good then..........

A custom Robusto T. Very nice.

Nb - for me the Petit Edmundo is a far superior smoke to the Edmundo (2005 original release excepted).
