Padilla La Terezza Habano, nice subtly sweet smoke, with a nice leather/pepper kick at the end, enjoyed with a single estate armangnac, and then a dalwhinnie 15, very very nice pairings.
also made some friends to herf with here, love introducing people to the leaf!

I have no bleeding clue what a Padilla La Terezza is.. but where did you get that armagnac? My thoughts are that single estates are only found in Armagnac and various good restaurants throughout France....?

Padilla La Terezza, an awesome Nicaraguan Habano. as for the armangnac, add the george hotel, inveraray to the list of places that have it, our bar manager is a spirit nut, and has all the connections one needs to get wholesale prices on things like this. i think this one is about 5 quid for a single.

A... nicaraguan habano? Is it like the US version of Cohiba, or is it actually something different??
oooooooh, that's bloody amazing. i guess it'd be easier to get good armagnac back in the Motherland rather than across the pond in your colonial son, here in Canada...... haha

Whisky exchange and master of malt both stock it. I think especially at that price point (c. ?45/bottle) it's one of the best drinks you can get

habano, referring to the shade of the wrapper, in between connecticut and maduro, and has to be grown from cuban seed. different to habanos, a cuban cigar. New world cigars have a complicated wrapper classification system! http://www.cigarbox.net/cigar-info/wrappers/
