This afternoon smoked outside a Quay d'Orsay Corona with some Ceylon Tea. The sun was trying it's hardest to shine, so the weather was respectable so I wasn't freezing by backside off.

I find the Quay d'Orsay's sugary sweet and this one was no different! Plenty of smoke owing from excellent construction. Only got a little harsh towards the end, where some of the sweetness was offset by harsh tobacco notes. Overall an excellent hour. 90/100. From a 2011 box.

Also had a Siglo II - My first ever Cohiba! - That leaves a solitary VI in the humidor...time to make some investments...

Saturday had me feeling like a long smoke.
Cohiba Esplandido for me over a few solid games of chess out in a slight breeze. Sweeter like chocolate and cocoa as it burned on. It was only aged like 6 months though. One thing that the esplandido did for me was that it did not go sour in its final third, rather it actually seemed to get more sweet and creamier.

The sweetness was quite pleasant and was great on its own. It was not something I would pair with a scotch like i'd normally do (except maybe a Speyside Scotch near the age of majority).

JL #1...seemed to get loads of confectionery type flavours and aromas, including mint!?? That's a first!

Sparked up the Black Market Filthy Hooligan. It was pretty crap. I scored it 81. Looked cool though!
