La Flor de Cano Short Robusto 2010 RE UK

Too many bands, too much glue. Starts reasonably creamy, very light citrus and builds to a crescendo of more creamy very light citrus.

got a lovely dinner lined up for myself, nice bottle of wine and bushmills 'irish honey' whiskey for afters!!! because of the 'honey' theme, i'm thinking VR famosos or SLR serie A for pairing it with!! guess i'll taste it first before deciding on a pairing.......

H Upmann Mag50 2010 for me, nice, reliable and mellow afternoon smoke.

I have some from 08 as well and they are a completely different beast, much stronger flavours.

That's interesting to know Dave as my 08 box had been pretty bland tbh....so, the 10s are much nicer? I bought the 50s after falling head over heels for the 46 but found them quite flat in comparison

Inka Red Tres Petit Corona

Lots of smoke, bought 10 of these in as short smokes. Bit more 1 dimensional than the corona I had of these.

Slightly harsh in the home run.

Not a bad smoke for the money though.

I wouldn't describe them as complex, more just creamy, gentle flavours that are pleasant but don't need to concentrate too much on, I love em for that, just so I can have a long smoke while doing something else.

The 08's I have are pretty similar taste but pack a bit more punch, I'm not quite sure how to describe the difference, maybe in the 10's I could smoke one all day long, the 08 after a single stick you know you've had one ......... hmmm does that make it any clearer? ..... thought not
