good morning all,
what a beautiful, sunny morning it is here in belfast!!! finished work early, had a lovely breakfast waiting on me as i arrived home (poached egg & smoked salmon on toasted 'sour dough' bread, local 'peat and heather' smoked bacon, fresh orange juice and coffee)!!! 'er indoors is away to her folk's house on the north coast with our son for half term break!!! this was a going away treat!!! now i'm about to step out back with a bolivar petite corona..... bliss!!!

lol, cheers!!! yes, don't i know i'm lucky? i'm working today, tomorrow, sat & sun, so i won't be joining them!!! i'll probably call down on wednesday, and whilst i'm up that way, i'll call into the bushmills distillery for a bottle or 2 of the new bushmills irish honey whiskey!! as for the rest of today, i'll have a nap, get up around 3..... make my sandwhiches for work, have another cigar (maybe the VR classico i found in one of my tupperdors)..... go back to work! tonight's my 'early', so i'll be home for around 7:30pm...... who know's, maybe another cigar!!! lol...... oh yes, i know i'm lucky!!

Sure does sound like a plan! Defo beats being sat on a train going nowhere but to sit thru dull meetings!

I decided to give a small Cuaba another chance - I've not been getting on with these at all. Once cut (guillotine, not V) the draw was like sucking on a piece of dowel. I struggled for a while and eventually had to pierce and try again. A reasonable smoke but what a job to get decent draw. This shape really isn't for me - the idea of drawing through a very narrow neck doesn't appeal at all. I'm finished trying small ring gauges - the AF Short Story and Cohiba Siglo I are my only concessions to that. This evening I have a huge Ashton Maduro waiting for me - another recent trade - and I have a feeling it's going to be pretty damned good !

wow, it's been a good day for me for cigars!!! lovely bolivar petite corona after breakfast, absolutely sublime VR classicos in the afternoon (pity it was my last one, and they're discontinued as far as i know) and a cracking monte petite edmundo this evening after work!!! guess that's what's meant by 'when the cat's away, the mice can play'!!! lol......

Yes they are discontinued along with the familiars, i'm trying to get my hands on a few of both as we speak...
