Almost missed a post for Wednesday so will plug the gap. After lunch, whilst driving, enjoyed a Cohiba Robusto - very much. My evening smoke was a Monte Edmundo which went down very well with a couple of generous glasses of Warre's port. The Edmundo was a very pleasant smoke although milder than the Cohiba - maybe I got them the wrong way around in my smoking day.

Finally had a cigar I have been trying to smoke since Christmas but the opportunity hasn't presented itself till Mon. Had this lovely Boli PE 2008. Had a fairly uneven burn but the flav was spot on. Today I followed up with aSAM_0216.jpgSAM_0215.jpgSAM_0218.jpgpair of sticks chosen for my afternoon in the glass house, local cafe. I thought my first Trini Coloniales would be milder than the R&J SC but it proved an error. I wasn't exepecting a lot from the Trini, apart from Gold Band Fundi's I don't get too excited by this brand these days (Short Robusto T was excellent but too pricey). This aged stick circa 10yo, had a surprise or two in store. First the amount of smoke was so impressive it could have summoned the Apaches; & it's fragrance. The brun was good & farly even & my only critisim was the slightly easy draw. SAM_0219.jpgSAM_0222.jpgThe second smoke was the ever dependable SC, I haven't had one for a couple of yrs but they have bene sitting there aging slowly, this was 5yo+. This time also an easy draw & very soft stick, underfilled. Became more noticable hlaf way through, when I could squeeze it to nearly half it's dia. The flav didn't stand out at all after the Trini & I would have done better with a full flav Boli, rather than another Med.
Overall the Boli leads the way this week.Attached FilesSimon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.
