not to sure Will, i got there about 10pm and only had one drink and a quick cigar before i had to go, my bill was under ?25.00 and the staff did not mention anything, but the others had been there for a few hours so dont no how much total spend was and if that was taken into account

What did you think of it Pete? I was there a couple of weeks ago after a Birthday meal, there is a minimum spend of ?25 per person and when I was there like you I had only one drink with my cigar before leaving. Upon asking for the bill the waiter asked another in Italian whether I had met the minimum spend (thinking we wouldn't understand). I had spent more than ?25 so nothing was said. My fianc? is Italian and told me so I made sure she asked him where the toilets were in Italian, the look on his face! It's a nice place but the prices are ridiculous.

Hi Matt,well if there is a minimum spend it now seems to be coming the norm,as i said it was nice and toasty, comfy setting and they made a decent old fashioned which cost ?16 something,pretty standard price around London
the only time minimum spend bugs me is mid day when you just want a coffe and a cigar and the place is empty

O how I miss the Cigar Divan of the 18th and 19th centuries. Coffee and a cigar for sixpence. Few of you will remember that, of course !
