Recently back from setting up and sound checking the band PA and stuff on a great theatre stage with lights and stuff. Playing a good full-band one tonight.

Relaxing with a Snub and lots of tea in and out of the house in anticipation.

These Nubs are getting a lot of press!! What are they like? How do they compare to CCs?

This is a Snub.
It's different to a Nub.
I like both and have enjoyed them thanks to a couple of the men on here.

This Snub needs me to grip it an inch or so in a bit to keep it in my mouth as it's tapered.
I think I look a bit Prohibition gangster with it - and I like that in a cigar when I feel like showing off.

Had a Punch Churchill this afternoon fresh off the plane from Cuba. It was ok.

I'll put up some Humi-porn pictures tomorrow of the rest of the delivery but god only knows how the got through customs with that little lot......

My one and only HdM Regalos LE 2007. Not having anything similar to compare against, I'm buggered. However, I found it a refined smoke that built up in subtley delivered taste and flavour (I'm sh!te at picking them out, sorry) from around mid-stick. Finished well too. What I did notice was that the smoke felt 'smaller' in my mouth. A weird statement, but that was my perception

This single stick was bought over in the motherland at the Hotel Nationale, Havana. If anyone goes over there at any point, check the hotel's cigar store, downstairs, out: prices were very reasonable

I had a Partagas Salomon in the pub last night.
Very good smoke, nice strong Partagas flavours, burned very well for nearly 2 hours.

Cohiba robusto then a RASCC. I stayed up ridiculously late playing Call of Duty Tired and slightly hungover this morning

Bolivar RC, followed by a Padron 5000. Both were incredible.
