    Cabanas Perfectos. 44 x 127. 2002. Gifted by Bwgan.

    1/3. Tobacco/salt > (dry) wood + some vegetal sweetness > salted citrus (saltiness in the mouth). 2/3. wood/sour citrus/honey/tobacco > wood > 3/3. wood/light salt > wood > wood/tobacco > wood/tobacco. End.

Not the prettiest. Reasonable draw and burn. Loose ash.

Tonight it's a R&J Churchill 2010 Limited Edition - I've smoked 8 so far from a box of 25, 2 of which (25%) burned unevenly. I just hope this trend isn't going to continue. Nevertheless, an enjoyable smoke for about 80% of its length - I think that's why I have come to prefer a Robusto. Enjoy your evening, one and all.

David, I hate to be the one to tell you this but if you have exactly "R&J Churchill 2010 Limited Edition" and it is Cuban then it is 100% fake as this cigar has never existed in genuine production.

Please confirm and post up pictures.

Thank you for the information. The box was a gift so its actual source isn't known to me. I had presumed they were Churchills but I suppose they might be PoW or Clemenceaus. I can bear them being fakes at nil cost.

Hi David, glad to hear the price is right.

They are not POW's or Clemenceaus as these have not been made in the last 10 years (or more).

As long as you enjoy them all is good but probably not too useful your form your opinion on (real) R and J's based on random fakes.

Be great if you could post a pic

          Great source of info here:

true, however going by the new R&J in the last few years the fakes might taste better

Started with a Punch Medallo D'oro. Good cigar, but not amazing. Then a RyJ Short Churchill, which was lovely.

Well, it's been an interesting day, missing work due to an incident I became involved in. However, I did have time to recover with the good chap above. I too had the Punch Medalla de Oro (GB RE), and mine and Dan's opinions were very much aligned on this one - good opening, but failed to deliver on that promise (whilst never being anything less than a good cigar). I followed it up with an H.Upmann Robusto (2012 LE), this was a very nice cigar which started with a bang, progressed nicely, but just seemed to fade at the tail.
