Bolivar Demi Tasse > OSU ABR 01

Appearance: Dark and brooding. Looks like an old Twiglet. Band faded and almost welded into the wrapper.

Construction: Firm pack > tight/unplugged draw > even burning > no corrections.

Flavour: No re-light aroma. 1/3. Leather/salt > bitter fruit > plum > gets sweeter > (draw loosening) > dried fruit like currant > predominantly (sweet) leather. 2/3. Still sweet leather > mushroom > 3/3. Still sweet leather > dark, bitter chocolate > chocolate sweetening > clean tobacco (sweet, no harshness). End.

Overall: I enjoyed it. Flavour strength medium. Smoke light and mellow. Are the flavours correct for the vitola? No way of knowing, the cigar was 11 years old and I?ve not smoked one before. No noticeable nicotine strength. Smoke time: 25mins.

Sounds a very pleasant smoke, a good starter stick, before moving on to something meatier?

"Long Time Lurker, First Time Poster" (from BJ Coro's Blog, "My life as a UKCF Knewbee")

Now then, that wasn't so bad, was it.

For your second post, might I suggest the "Knewbees Greet" thread. I think you'll find it quite enjoyable for a UKCF Knewbee like yourself.
