    evening all,
hope everyone's keeping well and enjoying their libations and cigars! fancied a change this evening, so i took a chance and went to my local off license! so glad i did, imagine...... they had monte petite edmundo tubos!!! had to grab one (?14) and a RyJ tubos 2, along with a small bottle of talisker 10year old to try! oh, and a bottle of leffe blonde........

tonight, i reckon it's gonna be the petite edmundo!

Sounds an excellent combo. I too will be enjoying two bevies - San Miguel and Glenkinchie to follow. Not decided on cigar yet, though may choose a HDM Petite.

Just out of curiosity, if you buy them from an off license are the cigars not really dry?

no, they're kept in a hunters and frankau humidor that sits on the counter, maintained at 67%RH on a digital hygrometer with a dish of beads and a dish of salt! perfect as usual......

the guy in the shop is very enthusiastic about his cigars! they also had psd4's (?18? i think not) and siglo 1's and 6's.....

Chose a pds4 for myself tonight, assuming a pds4 is a Partagas. Not the best of draws, but things improved along the way providing an enjoyable 90 mins of smoking. Still wouldn't pay ?18.00 for one though.
I really do need to invest in a better cutter - single blades are just not the way forward.

That's good then. I thought it would be on the tobacco stand. It's a shame cigars aren't more easily accessible. I wouldn't know if an off license near me sold cigars haha.

if you check the hunters and frankau website, there's an up to date and comprehensive list of nationwide retailers, specialists and COSA's (comfortable outdoor smoking areas) all supplied by H&F!

They smoke very well even when very young. I cracked into a box with only 8 months on them and they were good to go
