Oh how I don't miss having drummers trying out for my band! They either never get back to you, can't play without a lead guitarist or can't effing drive. Hope you enjoyed the sticks though!

To report:

Once again, i find myself disappointed by Cohiba; sharp, bitter, and.......ever so slightly.............fishy......... It only had 9 months on it, but that should have been a good enough start.

Like usual, Partagas saves the day with yet another infallible powerhouse!!!

Didn't actually get a chance to see his skills in the end. Seems a nice enough guy and really knows his stuff (perhaps a little emo-ey...). We got a studio booked Wednesday night to see him in action.

Unfortunately it is not with Cohibas. As you described, they taste really nasty young. They need at least 3-5 years to taste good, don't ask me why but it does appear to be the case. If you want sticks to smoke young don't wast your hard-earned on Cohibas, they will never deliver without age.
