This is a 2001....stands back while everyone faints & says "Stupid Boy"!

In my mind, & I've had a few different vitolas from SC the OR's are the only ones to smoke. I've tried later releases but they're just not up to scratch a distinct dumbing down of the OR's spiciness...IMHO.

Spot on puffy. Mine is 2001 like yours. Being an OR they didnt seem to suffer from the year. Like you i have never smoked another lcdlh that come close to this blend. We'll compare notes later.

...first time in a while but sparked up a Churchill Santa Damiana after smoking a lot of Cubans recently, have to say thoroughly enjoyed it and absolutely perfect burn as usual but certainly it lacked the depth of the Cubans and mixture of flavours as i have begun to get accustomed to!

The after dinner (beef stew & dumplings,) El Morro was a superb way to finish the day, with a little Grand Marnier that I used earlier for the margaritas, a pairing that I would highly recommend, the El Morro, not the Margarita-margarita combo, the little stick although flavoursome was overawed by the drink whereas the Morro just drew the oranges in the Grand Marnier into it's own spicy heaven...oooh! I'm rambling now -off to choose today's...

I had a very smooth and mild Upmann Mag 46 last night. It was pleasant, but lacked depth of flavour IMO. I think they probably need some more aging....
