23rd September 2012 - Ha ha, got to laugh!

After eagerly awaiting for a friend to get back from a brief trip to Holland I asked him to pick me up a nice box of Cubans, ideally Punch or H.Upmanns so as to save me a few pennies and to stoke up the humi...well he got back today and popped round to drop of my bounty!

Lucky me, 20x packs of Henri Wintermans Slims, lol, oh well i suppose it is the thought that counts

...now going to drown my sorrows in a 2009 RyJ Corona, never having had one before i am rather looking forward to it!

Update: started off absolutely fantastic and then after the first third could barely get a good pull on it!! Gutted, for some reason the cigar grad a rather squarish shape so font know if it had been patted down to much in the making? Not having a good run with Cuba's at the mo, the last one I had, a Bolivia Corona Junior also had a really bad draw!

Finally, was determined to get a good smoke tonight so sparked up a Monte No. 3 (complemented with a Laphroaig), being a newbie to Cubans it seems clear to me they are much like going on a journey, it started off once again fantastic, and gradually the draw became really hard to pull, which ruins the experience ... but then after a while the draw got better and was exceedingly good for a while but then became a hard draw 'again'! Never really had this inconsistency with the larger gauge CC's (although the Punch tres petit have 'always' been good) or NC's! Overall the cigar tasted great but the experience was let down by the inconsistency of draw throughout!

That's three CC in a row, i initially thought am i keeping them too moist but my humi says not and i have not had this problem with others in there
