Well it's my birthday today!

I've got myself a 2007 Siglo VI and a 2008 Cuaba EL looked out as long as the weather holds out.

My wife just surprised me with a bottle of the below, never tried anything from their distillery before so can't wait to give this one a shot.

Benriach is one of my favourite Speyside distilleries, they are a bit like upstarts really.

They produce quite a few different bottlings and some of them are stunning. If you are a peat fan look out for Curiositas or Authenticus or even a Birnie Moss if you are on a budget.

I've been lucky enougth to tour the distillery a couple of times and Stuart the Manager is a top bloke.
