I would if I were you, they seem to have a sweetness when young that fades, not so sure about them after a few years, might need some serious age after that, hopefully in a few more years I'll see!

Hmmmm... I've got a young box that needs cracking... Now where did that sunshine go?

Was going to enjoy the Oliva V Lancero Yeti gifted me a while back. Heavens opened up so I settled for a quicker smoke, an AF Short Story. Lots of cream and coffee! Looks like rain again...

Right it is Friday so in to a mag 48 yum!

It's a nice smoke, great flavours and a bit of celery in the finish (one of my five a day?) but unfortunately this one just won't stay lit if left alone and is burning rather unevenly, not a problem I had with the edge so could well just be this one.

Thanks for the good wishes, the foot isn't too bad today as I've been able to keep it up on a stool but yesterday I was stuck in meetings all afternoon and couldn't put my shoe back on. Disease of kings and all that, apparently while beers and wine are high in purines (the protein that causes gout) spirits are ok so I can still enjoy my whiskey and rum. Just have to cut back on red meats and shellfish. No more surf'n'turf for me for a while then.

just in the toe, much better today and I did get through a load of cherries, looks like they'll be becoming a staple part of my fruit bowl for now.
