    It is finally July (apparently...)

I had a Fonseca Cosaco this morning. As I've said before, these are a nice light morning cigar.

About to go through the humi, I am thinking of having a JL No.2, lets see what else I can see...

Well, I am just about 1/3 of the way through and it is amazing! Very clean grassy taste (which usually bores me), but with a very slight sweet and spicy side on the finish, the draw is slightly too firm and therefore not producing much smoke so I can't imagine what this would be like with a perfect draw! May have to get a box of these. But I also have a couple of JL No.2 to try as well as 3 HdM Epi 2. So whichever one is my favourite will be my first robusto box purchase

H Upmann Mag 50 from the Festival Habanos 2008 humidor. Very nice indeed! plenty of smoke, great draw with no corrections needed. Wholemeal toast with espresso, a mild milk chocolate undertone and marshmallows throughout. Omnomnom

Oliva series V double robusto, beautifully constructed and burning perfectly, staying lit even though I'm smoking it very sloooowly. Getting to the end of the first third and the flavours are great, complimented by a pint of Harvey's Eastbourne Pale Ale (in a dimpled mug of course). It was a toss up between this, a dippy 2 or a Bolivar Britanicas. I decided to let the Cubans age a little more.

I don't know vort, I just got it as a single, I wouldn't really know. It wasn't harsh etc so wouldn't think it would be too young but it may of been, and if it was, it was great for a young'n

Well the short had a terrible uneven burn that would correct itself every inch then proceed to burn uneven at the same side again. Third different R&J of different size I have tried and none have persuaded me to this brand yet ?

At least I got to try out my new ashtray
