You definitely get the feel of that wrapper from that 2nd pic mate Looks like a good cigar, nice and solid. What sort of flavours are you getting in there?
Hi Mate,
It most certainly is a solid cigar! For me, this is the 'Daddy' of cigars....I reserve them for when I have a lot of time. Todays one lasted very near 2 hours, however I took it fairly slow, but no relights From what I understand these cigars are packed with Ligero tobacco, the strong stuff! And you can tell. Its a big strong stick. It's woody and meaty.....there is a lot of smoke, but I wouldn't say its creamy (in the creamy cuban sense?! if that makes sense).
I sat down the entire time I smoked this, and when I got up after I was finished I was hit very hard with nicotine....I started sweating profusely, and generally felt sick. After 5 minutes this passed and I laid down for half an hour, then I was right as rain. This is only the second time this has happened to me, I forget what the other stick was that did it to me, but its been a while! Next time I have one of these (which I love!) I won't be drinking Coke Zero, but rather full sugar Coke, and will stand up from time to time while smoking! Lesson learnt.
Anyway, I'm capping the night off with something much smaller, a Dip 4, with a nice sweet English breakfast tea
HU mag 50 for me! Not plugged but needed a bit of effort wasn't bad tho, distinctive upmann taste which is a fave of mine... Yeah I'd manage another one!
Had friends around this evening after a nice meal we sat outside & Paul chose a RGPC2001 & I had a Party898 2000. Tough draw on mine, which took the edge of it for me.
