Well, just arrived back from Toulouse in the south-west of France organising wedding stuff :S Now just sitting out on the deck enjoying my first ever Padron 2000 Maduro and a Dr Pepper. The scent off the foot of the cigar was unreal, cacao - very strong. Great cigar so far, definitely not a Cuban, whole different flavour altogether, but I guess that goes without saying!

Update - Half way through now: Earthy, and peppery when allowing it to seep out the nose. Great burn, razor sharp. The aftertaste is long and very chocolaty with a bit of coffee.

P.S. Checked out the duty free prices for cigars at Toulouse Airport and at Geneva and wasn't very impressed. Certainly cheaper than UK prices, so if I was heading back to the UK I probably would have picked a few up, but otherwise....no. haha

Great stuff Chris! Brilliant smoke aren't they! I totally concur with everything you're finding in it too, might have another one myself tonight Well I've started off what I hope will feel like a very long week off with a Brick House Short Torp.Nice enough flavours, very mild and definitely an early part of the day cigar,I'd say.Undecided as to whether or not I'd spring on a box,it was only a single so I'd probably want to try a couple more I suppose.

Yeh definitely a great cigar, I smoked it very slowly, I think it needs this as the one I had burnt fairly hot. Haha you'll have to get another box soon, you're getting through them!! I haven't ever heard of the cigar you are having....but hope you are enjoying it

After quite a tough day today spent a nice hour sitting in the evening sun with a Dippy 4 and a pint of fat coke watching and listenign to the local Goldfinches chattering and feeding in my garden.

              I'm at peace again.

Im getting off the tin can in the ocean tomorrow so may have a smoke if time allows between when I get home and when my other half gets to mine, think I have a few hours but I need to try out my airbrush that I had delivered when I was away haha
A cigar is not measured by its cost - It is measured by how much it burns your fingers

Out for dinner with a friend I don't see often, so enjoyed myself. An El Rey Del Mundo but wish I'd brought atleast another cigar with me.
