      A four year old Monty!

The Montecristo Panatela Edicion Limitada '05 along with a cup of Earl Gray - both good anytime of the day (shit, I'm starting to behave like a bloody Limey, no offense, mates).

I was saving this special puro for the "Puros Across the Pond" event tonight, but it was postponed by Ms. IV until tomorrow night...too late for me to re-calibrate, however.

I'm starting to get a bit tired.

I am back at work Stevieboy; no smokes, no whisky, no joy or pleasure for the next few weeks, apart from logging on each day and seeing how everybody on the forum is doing and what they`re smoking.

What a drag it is getting old.....and sick!

Get well soon, Whisky lad. It's a drag when you can't enjoy a fine puro. A sure sign that's you're getting sick.

None for me yesterday, working till very late.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Started off with an Epi 2 with a bottle of Blason de Bourgogne Montagny 1er Cru. Quite a good combo, but even better when I sparked up a VR Famosos, brilliant

Another Monte PE. Another 25-30 still to go.

I must buy something else in Madrid!

Good choice Ramon; two of my own all time favourites, and i still reckon the first year that VR produced cigars (think it was 1999), the Famosos was the best robusto on the market that year.
They were outstanding; only wish i had bought a few boxes then and stuck them in the humidor.

PS. have you had a chance to try the Mortlach yet?

You obviously know your cigars and love them, mate, so it must be pretty damned hard to go off to your work and not be able to enjoy them for periods of time. As hard as laying off other bodily needs, to be frank.

I had no idea that smoking would be banned on rigs, although I know I'm making an assumption about exactly where you work there. My only knowledge of oil drilling comes from watching Richard Hammond go down to the sea floor inside one of the enormous pillars of a massive rig. What an eye-opener that was!

I suppose not smoking fine cigars means the anticipation of being able to smoke again must be fantastic. Again, just like anticipating the other!

I'm mid-way through an outstanding Lusitanias as I type this so am feeling a bit poetic over a very fine cigar. Forgive me lol. You were correct in the way you wrote about this stick.

I believe I do a valid and worthwhile job, but I envy people who do things which have to be intrepid by their very nature. Believe it or not, I get a bit of a thrill when my band plays in bodreline dodgy dives from time to time. It's a watered-down way of finding some danger for me!
