About 20 minutes into a Quintero Nacionales sent to me by Dave. Some lovely bitter AND sweet coffee coming through with a lovely bit of spice on the tongue. And a hint of something I can only describe as digestive biscuits. A lovely smoke so far so thanks Dave!

A toscanello with a cup of coffee. Lovely!
If you want a midget to look like a baby, don't put a cigar in his mouth.

Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Robusto with a bottle of Black Isle Brewery Porter this afternoon.

Funny thing, the Porter has always tasted ever so slightly sweet before but not this time. The RP must have some natural sweetness in it.

Well finally managed to pick up a real strong distinctive flavour from a cigar

Just a pity it was ammonia so it got binned. Might pick something else out after dinner.

This evening I shall be smoking a Macanudo 1968 Robusto, accompanied by a nice bottle of red. The only dilemma is do I start on it now or wait for the start of the wrestling?

                  Reyes Family Toro.

From the website description - "Mild to medium bodied, silky smooth taste & wonderful aroma!"

                  Absolutely spot on!

The Rocky Patel representative at the Big Smoke 'Juan' said that they add sugar to the leaves to give sweetness.

I may try and sneak a quick smoke in soon.
