Wow - a very early cigar for me.

    Had an Onyx Reserve Belicoso.

It was gifted to me at some point from one of my American buddies and has been in the bottom box in the humidor for some time.

Really impressed. A very sweet maduro, with a medium body. Clear chocolatey hints at the start moving onto a good earthy flavour as it developed.

As I say, really impressed by it!

After a full Roast beef & Yorkie pud lunch, had a Boli JC 2004; watching Celtic match (not my choice, would rather have seen the build up to the F1 race). Excellent little stix, Boli fav & strenght ina 40min stick, very nice.

Punch Punch, sitting by the Mersey with a medical text book. Whilst Gemma was reading a book. Shame about the cloud and wind making it a chilly day.

Got a few comments. Heard some americans (or canadians) comment about having some with them, but they didn't stop for a chat.

Rocky Patel Sun Grown, cut grass pre light and fresh hay on the smoke, delightful light smoke as most sticks have been knocking me about of late, thanks to Rokkitt man George for the stick.

Smoked a Piramides cigar today, it was rolled by Yolanda Gonzalez in Havana. Absolutely wonderful cigar, starts out mild and tasty and developed beautifully.

A good friend brought 50 of these back for my nieces wedding, I'm hoping no one likes cigars so I can buy a good few of them back to mature in my humidor.

Some of the people I respect most in the cigar trade regard Yolanda as the one of the finest rollers of her generation and the finest Piramides roller currently working in Havana. I'm not going to disagree.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.
