We've finally had a break in the weather today! Some blue skies, and relatively warm temperatures, meant we could make up for yesterday's rained off mini-herf.

I smoked (as did Dan, on day five of his trip to Plymouth for our herf-a-thon) a Ramon Allones Extra (2011 EL). They smell and look absolutely heavenly. It was a good cigar, with an infuriating uneven burn at times, but overall I found it a little disappointing given how inviting it had been pre-light. Review to follow soon.

    Beautiful weather!

Just had a lovely walk with the dog and thoroughly enjoyed a NC H Upmann corona - one of the vintage cameroons. By far one of my most favourite cigars!

Just enjoyed my first Ramon Allones Specially Selected, accompanied with a cup of creamy Costa Rican coffee, then finished with a Red Stag by Jim Beam.

Not had a cigar for over a month due to time restrictions and a bout of tonsillitis but I am back again!!!!

I'll have to echo Simons thought on the Extra... One of the best looking and smelling cigars I have ever laid eyes (and olfactory senses) on. The draw on mine was a little bit too tight, not plugged, but just a bit tight and the burn was very even.

I found it to be a fairly average cigar once lit. It's not a bad smoke, and I think it has potential to become a much better cigar once it has a few years age on it.
