Partagas Petit Corona Especiales (June '11) It's taken having smoked three from this box for me to now realise that they need to go on leave for a little while. It's a nice enough cigar but the flavours are all a bit of a mishmash just now,all wrapped up in some pretty big strength.I've committed myself to not trying another until Christmas so we'll see how I get on with that one

Just finished a lovely, creamy Hoyo du dauphin.

Last night in my slightly drunkened and hence sporadic mind, i decided to check on the Partagas Culebra (those three sticks braided together in an homage to olf cigar factory worker tradition) i had alone in a temporary humidor made out of a cigar box (at the time when i bought it, i had already carefully fit like 70 cigars in my little 50 count humi). I had left it a couple of weeks being overhumidified due to the nature of its storage, and found the three sticks to be covered in mould. I brushed it all off and cut half an inch of each foot. I decided to smoke all three throughout today as i didn't want to leave them any longer. I'm finishing the last one now. Despite the condition when i found them, they're pretty damn nice.

RyJ Short Churchill. Very enjoyable, probably the best example of this cigar I have smoked. Let it go a little early because it kept going out (because I was nattering too much) and couldn't be bothered to keep on relighting.

Well, we had as much of a West Country Herf as the weather allowed... I smoked a San Cristobal La Punta which, if my memory serves me well, was originally from the collection of HabanoSy. Many thanks for the stick, it was a pleasant experience amongst the horrific weather! I should be posting a review in due course (my first in far too long). Good burn, excellent draw. Sweetish flavour profile. Overall, rather nice, and rather enjoyable as a result.
