One non alcoholic drink that compliments cigars for me has to be Dr Pepper. Mmmm!

I had me an extra cigar this evening, a Flor De Cano selectos, dark wrapper a lil rough looking with the odd vein here and there, not spongy or hard to touch, looking very much like a partagas cigar overall.
It had good construction and even burn right the way through, no correction needed at all.
The first inch i was frustrated, really got nothing and was'nt expecting much, and to be honest i was going to toss it. Then all of a sudden it came to life, great draw, huge amounts of smoke, similar in flavour to a partagas, just a tad weaker. This cigar really surprised me, lots of flavours, spicy. leathery, earthy tones, with hints of coffee and at times large amounts of honey and caramel coming through, smoked like this pretty much all the way to the end of the stick. Good smoke for the price, and i will be buying more, imo way better than a Jose L Piedra...
