Still on the Juan lopez Petite Corona this morning with a cup of Rooibos.Last night i tied a Cohiba Maduro in with the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban.
This appeared to be a fine combination as the Glenmorangie is finished in its normal bourbon casks before being transferred to a ruby port cask for the final maturation. The whisky has a deep ruby colour compared to its normal presentation, and the sweeter port finish helps to bring out the cocoa hints in the Cohiba.Non chill filtered and 46% by volume, it is definately a fine accompliment to the Maduro.
