Tuesday 14th April & day 96 on Robusto's Holiday

Today, because I had to work, I made my way to my London Office and sat down at my 'desk' and, as it was a nice sunny day tucked into a nice ripe Hoya de Monterey.

About 3/4 of the way through it I realised I should probably have eaten a bigger breakfast. I know Robusto has said that he quite likes it when a cigar 'beats him up' this wasn't a beating, more a swift kick in the fork so I headed off for a strong cup of tea and some nice biscuits.

Today, because i have achieved absolutely nothing, i think i will treat myself to yet another Cohiba Maduro and perhaps even crack open a bottle of malt into the bargain.Nobody said it was going to be easy!

Ask that Larry about US teachers' holidays. My niece and nephew in New Mexico used to have about three months off in the Summer when their school closed. Winner.

July is an awful month in this job. Everybody - kids, staff - wants and needs to stop at the end of June, but we plough on 'admirably' starting the next year's curriculum quite pointlessly imo for another month.

Well Morpheus, that is true. But only inside the Matrix. Out in the real world there are no more teachers.

We have 2 months in the summer, but it gets shorter by two or three days each year. It used to be 3 months. Our summer holiday is getting swallowed up by The Oracle.
