Por Laranaga Valiosos Swiss RE 09 for me this afternoon. My first PL too, I think! Started off beautiful and light, kind of nutty too...

Slightly sweet, creamy, nutty, wonderful. Trying the new naked grouse with it and it goes perfectly.

Starting off with a Romeo Duke. Smoked one exactly one year ago, and found it somewhat overwhelming. A year later, things are starting to settle down nicely. Lots of chocolate overtones, still very full bodied. I know opinion on this stick is very divided, but I think given time, the Duke will be a very good stick indeed. I am smoking one out of the same box on the same day each year. Be interesting to see how the profile changes over time. A long term experiment! I have another unopened box to smoke in full in around 2019!
