An expensive reminder that 'aged' isn't always best. Has been my experience too ... fortunately more recent of this vitola are meant to have been draw machine tested before boxing .... the key word being 'meant'... we are talking Cuba afterall.

            Partagas Chico. Montecristo No 5.
If you want to, you can.

I had and ERdM Choix de L'epoque whilst watching last nights turgid 0-0 between Liverpool and Spurs. Was a decent enough smoke. Not spectacular tasting but construction and draw were excellent.

It wasnt aged the box is only a 08 but yeah they are expensive for what they are cohiba as a whole seems to be inconsistent crap at times (alot of times) and some great smokes the other.

Cohiba usually smoke better with 5yrs age, when some of the natural oils have moved to the wrapper. I have never had to ditch a Cohiba because it was plugged. Also you may find dry boxing for a day or two before smoking may improve the draw too.
