Puffing on Party Lusi from 08 right now this box has been very hit and miss some have been great while others poor this one is one of those poor ones meh!
That Connie 1 was fantastic all the way to the nub, if the rest of the box are the same then I'll be a very happy man
Dougle, I've never gotten on that well with Mag 46s but Stevieboy did give me one from a box that he was loving and if I get the time I might light it up tomorrow!

Cheers for the feedback Styler, as a newbie the whole darn Cuban thing is a mystery - same manufacturer, same tobacco but rolled in a different length/gauge and the result is chalk and cheese!
Just smoked a R + J wide churchill and I have to say it was absolute heaven, in fact I would go as far as to say in the top 3 of my cigars to date. Lots of smoke, good flavours but not overpowering, even creamy in parts. Will be going back for more!

That's a good 3 hours dedicated to the leaf if I'm not mistaken Keith - fair play to you. Thinking about a herf next weekend in the treble c if you're about, I'll put a post in the requisite section tomorrow when I've sobered up......
Was out with some friends and couldn't stand the ridiculous torrent of noise in the shit holes everybody wants to go to. so i went outside to light up the H. Upmann Magnum 48 2009 LE i brought with me. Best part of the night................
........I should think right now they're still in one of those noisy crap shacks wondering where the hell i am.........

Come to woking on a Thursday/Friday night and goto a club called chameleon before you rate any crap shacks.
Also i love that cigar that smoke over crappy clubs expensive alchopops and skanky chavettes any day.

And therein lies another example of the differing experiences with Cubans. Young Reaver was slating the RyJ Water Closet the other day...

Everything I've heard about the WC suggests that they are extremely inconsistent. I'd love to try one from a box that was averaging high.
Dougle, when you say that the cigars are rolled from the same tobacco the fact that it's grown in Cuba is where the similarity ends. The blend of tobacco in a Connie 1 is obviously very different to the one in a PSD4 for example.
