Let it Rain, Biatch!!!
Friends, Mates and Amigos,
It must be raining all over the world, mis amigos!
So, to reflect the gloom of the day, I selected the not-so fine Jose L. Piedra. I received five of these with a box purchase. Doesn't have much character, nuance, or flavor, but it's the perfect puro when the mood's just isn't right for your finest!
Names TJ, TJCore, and I found this while looking up yankee slang for "bitch."sigpicVaya con Dios, Amigos! - don TJ and the Coros

Senor GSS, Let us know when you "come to" after smoking that Bad Boy!!!
Is the Gurkha double maduro the one made with only maduro leaf? I have never tried one but I'm told that pack a significant punch.
Names TJ, TJCore, and I stick to the puro.

Gurkha Doble Maduro
Gurkha Doble Maduro
I’ve been chomping at the bits waiting for this cigar to come in. You see, we received samples of this cigar on the same day as the Triple Ligero X3. If you’ve read my write-up on Triple Ligero, you know I am a fan. Well, between that and the Doble Maduro, I favor the latter. Why? Take the super-smooth richness of a Triple Ligero, but leave out the spicy, robust ligero leaves, and you’ve got yourself a double maduro masterpiece that’s freakin’ delicious. So here’s the scoop. The Gurkha Maduro is a highly requested cigar that we do not carry. Why? The leaf used to create this maduro is expensive and hard to come by. It could only be produced in small batches and was therefore limited to factory-made samplers. Of the 5 cigars in this sampler, the Gurkha Maduro was the reason why most customers purchased it. That sampler is no longer available, but Kaizad Hansotia has created something to quiet the riots and one-up his original maduro: Gurkha Doble Maduro. I could stare at this cigar for hours on end. A dark, oily, toothy Costa Rican maduro coats this toro - it’s thick and durable, peaking out from a handsomely applied cedar sleeve. This leaf seems to dominate the blend for the better portion of the smoke, lending an extraordinarily smooth richness with dark-chocolate undertones and a light sweetness on the aftertaste. The abundance of flavor teases you into believing you're burning a full-bodied cigar, but the aged blend of Dominican and Honduran tobaccos are really quite mellow, keeping the smoke smooth, while never breaking the medium-bodied plateau. And let me tell ya, this thing satisfies. Featuring an enormous depth in flavor and an aftertaste that barely diminishes between puffs, the Doble Maduro easily stood toe to toe with my espresso roast, which is tough to do considering Brandon made it. The guy makes jet fuel for coffee. You can remove paint from a sidewalk with the stuff. This cigar never tires, and continues to fill your palate with well-balanced, rich flavors in a methodical, smooth fashion. The Gurkha Doble Maduro is something you could (and want to) enjoy all day, every day.

D4
My second-to-last Partagas D4. Time to order more!
Beautiful weather in South-East Kent so I was in and out of the shack and had my faithful hound following me up and down the garden throughout.
The stick was so powerful it made me a bit light-headed. I love it when I get duffed up by a stogie like that! It tasted gorgeous and has got me in the mood to play with the band tonight at a Fancy Dress Ball. My bandmates have ordered me to play the Oscar-winning cowboy tonight and I shall very happily oblige.

Just started off my last PE
Soon as that first inhalation hits the lips, you're on
Was going to eat first, then thought bugger it, I'll sit out back with a nice stick and a Duvel to get things started this evening, taking advantage of a clear sky."Go you good things...geddem int'ya"
