Don't be so suprised abouut the nub they really are decent smokes despite their freakish looks! I'm currently enjoying a Ruination Man O war (robusto 1 I thnk). This is one spicy smoke but with some nice flavours, thanks secret santa!

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

          Don Tomas Corona

I have a couple of these in my humidor for a good few years and I have decided that I will smoke them and make some room for something new.

I don’t think you can get them easily in the UK any more, but they seem popular enough in the USA and fairly cheap over there.

They are 5 ? by 44 and made in Honduras by hand with long filler. They are described as a mild to medium cigar and I found them fairly mild.

This is not really a review because up until recently I have smoked cigars and either liked them or not. It is only very recently I have started to think a bit more about what I am smoking, (still trying to learn and develop some thoughts on tastes etc). I am not really at the reviewing stage but I will continue and try and give an impression of this cigar.

The wrapper was pale and smooth as silk with a slight sheen to it. Pre-light it had a honey smell which was great. Lighting was straight forward enough, with a good easy draw. The first couple of draws were rather harsh, there after it settled down and as said earlier a mild and smooth taste developed and it gave of plenty of creamy smoke. The taste had initial leather tones and then about half way through it turned to a light honey flavour, the final 2 inches returned to a pleasant leather taste.

The ash was very light and held together very well. It burnt extremely well, nice and even with no re-lights and no intervention required. Cigar lasted just over an hour (please note I am not the fastest smoker).

Is this a great cigar, well no its not, no complex flavours, no spice and no earth moving experience. It is however a good cigar, pleasant to smoke with a mild uncomplicated flavour. A pleasant way to spend an hour, chill out and relax.

The nubs are a good smoke and IMO out of all of them the ones you had are the best of the bunch only problem is you need a flame-thrower to light them.

And i settled on a ERDM longs which is just perfection really need a another box of these.

And now ive got a san cristobal la punta its not bad but no principie

                  C.Gars Nicaraguan Selection Corona (5.5x42)
First from the new tin. This is one smooooth cigar and is becoming one of my favourites.
(Just look at the wrapper on this baby! Flawless)

                  La Aurora 1495 Corona (5.25x43)
                  Sweet!

                  Man O'War Ruination Robusto #2 (6x60)
Nice smoke but some VERY serious splitting wrapper issues when it got going. 2 hrs 40 minutes of smoking time.
