So today I smoked my first cigar inside my local cafe in Antwerp, since last June. 1st of July all smoking inside cafes & resturants ceased in Belgium. Now somehow they have found a civilized way around the 'No Smoking' ban & have fitted a glass room with extraction. Now there were places like this in London & no doubt elsewhere, before the ban but come the ban, no exceptions were allowed in the UK. I chose to smoke a San Cristobel Casa del Hanabo, gifted by W.Will at Chrimbo. SC is not one of my fav brands, I find all of the formats have more or less the same flav profile & can't understand while VR is being cut back & SC presently remains the same. SAM_3405.jpgI trimmed a small amount off the cap & lit it slowly. SAM_3412.jpgSAM_3408.jpgIt was mild for most of the first half & the ash remained on for nearly the whole half. SAM_3411.jpgIn the end I tapped it off as it was somewhat distracting. The second half the flav became more medium but without much change. The burn, draw & ash were perfect & I rested it after two hrs+.SAM_3417.jpg I would recommend these for newbies looking to try their first large smoke. I look fwd to many pleasurable hrs in this glass house & & very glad I didn't put my DC's up for sale, as I was seriously considering doing.
Apologies, when I started this, nobody had started a thread for today, got distracted & after posting it I see another thread has been started. Can a mod please copy mine of it it?
