With it being New Years Eve and my 30th in a couple days time I treated myself to a cigar which has long been on my list.. The Montecristo Maravellas from the 2005 book release. Excellent cigar

Siglo II sat at a pub on the Southbank waiting for the fireworks at the London Eye. Siglo IV back at the car with wife and friends with a bottle of bubbly!

I managed 2 last night. A Cain Sungrown (5.75x50) which I bought in Slovakia a few months back and a D4.

The Cain was really sweet and strong, I guess just what youd expect from Sungrown wrappers? Really knocked me back despite having dinner and only a couple of drinks.
The D4 was better balanced but a bit less flavoursome. Ive had 2 now and they just dont seem to be my thing. A shame as I love the Lusitanias.

had an HdM petite piramides EL2011 with some redbreast pot stilled irish whiskey and bushmills 400th anniversery!!! the whiskey was magnificant, the cigar, not so much!!! it was quite harsh and needed relit twice (plus it tunneled)! followed it with a bolivar belicosos finos, that was smooth, tastey and rich!!! that was my NYE cigar......
