  • Tuesday 25th October.

    NC day today.

Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve, Toro Vitola. Nice mild smoke with strong cedar, pepper tones. Not bad at all.

Still one of the better NC IMO.

Still working through singles to see what I like and what I don't like.

      3x3 Long Filler Robusto

A long smoke of about 1 hour 45 minutes.
Strange aroma when I showed it a match.... couldn't quite figure out what it was.

Mild. Smoked all the way through with the same strange aroma and taste. No noticeable change. Still can't figure out what the taste was, but it wasn't especially nice. A sort of a mixture between "medicinal" "hints of hospital smell" mixed with a distinct mustiness of a cellar room that has been sealed up for years. With some cigars you are sad when you have to put them down. This wasn't one of those.

For me... one to cross off the list.

HdM PR wandering round fourviere and le jardin de rosarie (pls forgive spelling), another from Andy and another great stick. Also picked up an RA belicoso and bolivar Petit libertador from Cigare Store to try soon, crappy weather permitting!

CAO gold robusto, prefered it to the maduro version I had at the weekend. Strangly I was dinking mountin dew at the time had to resist shouting Howdey and buying a massive fridge. Dan

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.
