Just smoked a Saint Luis Rey Regios in honour of Marco Simoncelli.

He will be sorely missed on the MotoGP circuit, a sad loss

Not had a smoke all week and fancied something a bit different, time to dip into my NCs for a change..

Had a LFD Double Ligero Chiselito and it was a delight, so much better than the one I tried a year ago from the same batch. General opinion suggests that aging doesn't make much difference with NCs but I aint so sure, for such a strong cigar there was no harshness at all. The flavours were peppery (as I always find with NCs) but with delicious dark chocolote, wood and hints of fruit. The aftertaste was nice and leathery.

I really didn't want to put it down, and found myself taking a draw more often than I normally do with cigars.

Highly recommended for those who havent tried one of these.

Have to agree Dave. I reckon he could have got somewhere next year given the chance. RIP Marco.

You are welcome mate. Just finished a Epicure No2 myself, without the Cognac though.

Bolivar 108 and some Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban. I reckon this whisky would be good with any cigar. Lovely stuff.

Gave the RA Allones Extra a go today, picked up some singles last week.
Really enjoyed it, beautifully constructed cigar and certainly out of the RA stable.
Yep, it's a little on the young side but I've certainly had harsher young smokes.

Great way to enjoy the sunshine this afternoon!

Thoroughly enjoyed an HdM Epicure No.2 in the garage last night. Along with a wee glass of port.

                      Very tastyIMG00254-20111023-2245.jpg

                            Such good tastes you have.
                            A superb drink!

I share the same unusual family name as the owner of Glenmorangie, and we do share the same genes, although I have never met him. One of these days I must take a trip up there to introduce my son Paul to him.
