Had a great night in Cardiff with Dave and Steve, enjoying Cardiff's first 'proper' cigar event. Berta was in attendance, along with the owner of the Bear Shop in Cardiff and the H&F local sales rep, Patrick. Had a great evening speaking to them all.
As for the cigars, I started with an RyJ Duke. This was a vast improvement over the last Duke I tried - the draw was the biggest difference, allowing me to get some smoke and flavour. Probably around an 89, give or take a point. Then it was a quick ERdM PC, which was excellent. Finishing with a hand-rolled corona gorda from Berta. A little disappointed that it was a blend chosen with the generally 'novice' crowd in mind, but did very much enjoy it none-the-less.
And let's not forget the regular doses of Ron Zacapa 23yo devised to keep the wheels greased.
