I suppose this is more of a 'how do you store your spirits' type of question, but the added variable of boxes/tubes comes into it with whisky.
Do you keep your whisky in the boxes/tubes they come in? At the moment I keep all of mine in the boxes/tubes, but it's taking up a whole lot of space in a small kitchen! In fact, it's pretty much made my kitchen trolley unusable! I've also got a couple of whiskies hidden away in a deep drawer, along with the gin and rum etc.
Ideally I'd like a space saving (and preferably cheap) way of displaying my 'little' collection (size is relative I suppose). How do you guys store your whisky? In a cupboard/drawer in the kitchen, a worksurface, a bookcase in the living room...
Ideally I'd love a proper drinks cabinet, but nowhere seems to do them anymore, and the couple it is possible to find are semi-bespoke and mightily expensive.
I would quite like one of those globe drinks stands though... is that wrong...?
