I love my scotch on the rocks, but I haven't yet developed a taste for brandy on its own so I want to blend it.

OK I had some brandy on the rocks last night. It was better than the last time and I think it's because the brand. Not too bad, but I still don't like to drink it neat.

The Armenian brandy is one of my favourites, the translation of the Cyrillic script is ''пять звезд''=five stars, ''Оригинал Армянский''= Armenian original, the label is still with the old Soviet design , bought it from shop in Dover, very tasty

Got a friend who is Armenian. He's a real character and would love a bottle of this. Will have to look out for this one.

I was enjoying a bottle of Remy XO at Christmas when we stayed in a hotel... Refused to pay for a bottle until I found out that my favourite bar tender was offered deals from the supplier ?26 per bottle instead of ?120+

So, Cognac counts as brandy right?!

I really struggle with French brandy find them all very bitter, i like to drink my brandy neat, preferably from a warmed glass, so the smoother the better, for many years now i have always gone for spanish brandy, currently on a Carlos iii, brought back from Cuba (aquired F.O.C.) Lovely flavour and very smooth.....and cheap

I've only tried a couple of Spanish brandies. The Soberano is a nice drink.
