That's a helluva good price for this!

Thumbs up for Lagavulin 16, it is one of my favourites.

I received a bottle of Lagavulin Distiller Edition for my 40th, which was divine.

My other favourites are Ardbeg Corryvreckan, Dalmore Gran Reserva, Caol Ila Distillers Edition & Bruichladdich Infinity.

Lagavulin 16 is a superb dram and is very elegant for the amount of peaty smoke it exudes, I can't find praise high enough either! If you enjoyed that then you may also like the Berry Bros & Rudd independent bottling of 'Laphroaig 1998'.

at 80 US dollars a bottle it gets a little expencive to be an every day dram but it is one of my top 3 whiskys , Laphroaig Qtr.Cask & Macallen 18 rounding out the top 3 , the only one I can afford to drink daily is the Qtr.cask , But right now I have wee dram of Redbreast Irish Whisky & a big mug of Coffee .... looking out the window at the 4 inches of snow & more comming down . Enjoy, Vince
