Tried this for the first time last night, luverly stuff. Sis brought it back from spain thinking it was brandy... well she was almost right!
Can't read Spanish but from the taste it's like a fortified brandywine with herbs & fruit (apricot - cinnamon) my initial reaction was it would 'kill' the HDM Epi 1 I was smoking but they really held up well together & made a great pairing.
For the Bar: Ponche Caballero, Solera Superior 27%vol. Well worth a look!
