This is £20 at Tesco at the moment (Clubcard price)

Is it the same as this, just different bottle?

Yes it is & it’s delicious & far underrated compared with more expensive bottles

Picked up a bottle of Santiago 11yo Rum after a recent trip abroad.

Ive got to say this is the best rum I’ve tried, even better that the FdeC 25 I finished at Christmas.

It was €36 so about £30 and an absolute bargain IMO, even at the £40 price in the UK.

I tend to drink “better” rum’s on the rocks but this would also be nice with a ginger beer mixer.

I went to Spain recently to pick up some of this. A contact near Jerez had 6 bottles at a knock down price for me. Not a daily drinker for me by any means. But I need gifts for “high end” contacts soon, from “low end” me!

The 8 is far inferior unfortunately.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

I've not tried it but from experience the lesser aged rums are pretty poor and only good for mixers.

This 11yo stuff is fantastic though and pretty well priced.

I recently opened a bottle of Zacapa 23 and I have made quite a significant dent already! Lovely stuff - originally recommended on here too so many thanks as always!
