Thought I would recommend one of my favourite brandies to you guys.
Gran Duque de Alba ? Solera Gran Reserva.
My friend and I discovered it while in Lanzarote a few years ago. We decide after every evening meal to work our way through the hotels brandy selection and this was the best IMO. The bar tender would heat the brandy balloon with very hot water from the coffee machine twist a napkin onto the top of the glass to help keep the aroma in and then serve it. It was truly fantastic to remove the napkin and get a nose full of the sweet sent. Enjoyed a good few of these with some Canary island sticks from Vargas.
